Park Place receives Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Award for Infrastructure Technology – IT Services

Singapore Business Review honors ParkView, a revolutionary service that remotely and accurately detects hardware faults on a 24-hour basis.

Singapore — Singapore Business Review (SBR) has announced the SBR Technology Excellence Awards for 2019. Park Place Technologies has been awarded the trophy in the Infrastructure Technology – IT Services category. The award highlights ParkViewTM, a pioneering remote service that proactively detects faults in equipment hardware.

The 24-hour ParkViewTM service is available to storage, server, and networking products maintained by Park Place. Failure diagnosis, part identification, and necessary repairs are facilitated by alerts, which are securely transmitted to Park Place’s technical team. ParkViewTM applies a machine-to-machine communications model through which fault details and asset information are communicated directly to the ParkViewTM enterprise system. This method, which does not require human intervention, results in accurate diagnosis and repair in more than 97% of cases.

The inaugural awards ceremony took place on May 30, 2019 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.

This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Cheang Wai Keat, Head of Advisory of Ernst & Young LLP; Darwin Thio, Director, Cybersecurity & Technology Services of Nexia TS; KPMG Head of Cybersecurity Daryl Pereira; Evelyn Lim, Executive Director, Tax Advisory of BDO LLP, and; Jonathan Kok, Co-Head of Technology, Media & Communications Industry Group of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP.
